Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

Went to Putra Jaya last weekend for the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. The morning sky was pretty gloomy with dark overhanging clouds thus it's a challenge to take photo at low light. And the huge crowd of exciting photographers making it even more difficulty to take a good shot without cropping 'someone's head'.
These are some of the better shots...

A take from the garden

D40, f5.6, 1/80s
A take from the garden.

Since moving to this new place, dad took up gardening as part of his hobbies, which also includes taking care of his 4 local carp, a couple of Zebra Dove and Dom Dom. Every other week or so when he returned from grandma's place, he'll brings back with him pots of plant (my aunt loves gardening so that's explain where he get those plants) and plants them around the house. Some died soon after but some like the picture above bloom beautifully. I've got some picture of hibiscus and daisies as well. Maybe I'll post it next time.

I wish I am a kid... again

I wish I am a kid again. I get to do thing that I like and in my way.
Being an adult sucks, sometimes you care so much for others that you are neglecting yourself. Your heart always tell you one thing but your mind, the other. Isn't it good that I can just follow my heart without the need to worry about others?

Unique Guest House

While I was at Krabi, I rented a room at a guesthouse for 100 bucks a day. Pretty cheap considering it is end of the year and Christmas peak season. This guesthouse is unique in a way that each of the rooms are filled with soft toys like the photo above.
For anyone looking for clean and located at prime location (2 mins to beach) but yet affordable room in Krabi, you should consider this place. More info here

Krabi

Took this at one of the islands during the last trip to Krabi. This is rather an experimenting shot at the pebbles against the contrast background seawater. I think it turn out pretty 'comfortable' even though there is no 'specific object'.

On side note: The marine life in Redang is 10x better than Krabi...
